Man. Doesn’t seem like that long ago that this girl found and rescued me. She’s been my mirror. My shadow. My constant companion across the country. My best friend.

Last week she started puking a lot. The past couple days, she’s stopped eating, now she’s not drinking, either. She doesn’t seem like she’s in pain, but it’s been a long, hard day, and she probably won’t hold out much longer.

My girl. We’ve been through so much.

They save us. If only we could save them.
