Weekend project: cheflopnik edition

I built a couple solid walnut knife racks, this weekend.

Y’know. For fun.

The magnets I ordered were pretty amazing, and mostly worked just right. I’ll do better next time. If anyone needs a good US-based magnet supplier, lemme know.

I screwed up a couple nice pieces of wood.

But when it was all done, sanded and waxed, it all worked out.

My fingers hurt, but building something that will last is supposed to be worth it, right?
