In a prior post I asked for help in understanding how my brother in law’s wood lathe chuck was mounted. To recap it was inherited from the previous home owner and it was wobbling. Here is what he had.
We were guessing the chuck was on an internal taper and we were wrong....

This is the other end. Apparently the prior owner really liked the chuck and cobbled this together. No wonder it wobbled......
