I managed to cord a tire on my Miata and the other three are pretty darn close to that point as well. Inside edges thanks to my aggressive alignment. I am concerned about my alignment being too tire hungry since I am not planning on tracking the car any time soon. But that is laters problem.
I have been waffling for days trying to figure out which tires to order. I had been between the Dunlop DZ102 and the Falken 615k+. Both are very different tires so its kind of an odd comparison. But I have owned both and liked them for different reasons. In the end I pulled the trigger on the Falkens due to an $80 flash sale Discount Tire Direct was offering. That was about the original price difference that had me considering saving money and compromising on a way worse tire.
I love how cheap good tires for a miata are. Nice when you dont need 18+ inch low profile tires like on modern cars.
I had these on the Subaru before and enjoyed them for canyon carving. Time to see how they do on the Miata. I got about 15k miles on the Subaru before they went bald which is more than acceptable for the Miata.
