My brother-in-law wants to buy a Sprinter and install some amenities and do some camping and traveling with it. He’s thinking 2014 or later, and the 2.1L engine / 7-speed transmission for fuel economy. I’m concerned about rust and reliability. My brother-in-law lives on the coast in northern California, so next-to-the-ocean air during storage.
I posted about this last night, but I think everyone had gone to bed. Will you share your thoughts and experience with the Sprinter? What alternatives are you familiar with? Thanks!
