All this talk of backing trailers this morning when the real excitement is the fact that the trailer is never, ever going to line up directly behind the tractor. (Well, it will, but theoretically, if the tractor goes in a perfectly straight line, the trailer wasn’t lined up exactly with the trailer in the first place, and there’s no traction or friction or any of that other pesky, naturally occuring stuff...)
