My clutch failed last weekend, and I had it at the shop on Monday. It might have been done today, but they discovered the flywheel needs replacement, so I’m waiting some more. I was really hoping to have my own car back today, because starting tomorrow I’m flagging at the track for three days.
The forecast calls for some thunderstorms and rain every day, and the rental places near me are out of cars, so I knew what the universe wanted me to do.
I signed up on Turo and found the least expensive car I could get that allowed pickup this evening. Send help, I may be broken. :)
