This was a really productive weekend. In addition to buying my wife a Vespa, I also brought my father-in-law’s giant 36" glass tube TV to the recycling center, and managed to watch the entire IndyCar race at Pocono, despite the 2-hour delay after Robert Wikens knocked down part of the catch fence (so glad to hear he’s alive!).
It spite of all this, I managed to install most of the rest of the cabinets in my kitchen. There’s one more small wall cabinet to install to the right of the window. Plus we decided to add a shallow spice cabinet to the right of the microwave/vent hood, so I need to build that now. There’s also one more detail to settle, and then we can get the counter tops measured. We’re likely getting granite for those.
