For the first time since I bought my wife a Vespa in September 2018, I finally got to take a ride with her!
My daughters were very sad about the 4th of July parade being cancelled. Mrs. Shop Teacher thought ahead, and ordered some Smarties and Tootsie Rolls. With flags attached to our scooters, we surprised the girls with a little parade of our own and chucked candy at their heads. It was great!
Afterwards we went on a short ride around the neighborhood (my father-in-law was here with the girls). It was a lot of fun. It was only the second time she had ever ridden that scooter, but she did very well.

Hopefully this leads to her riding it more often. She needed to build her confidence up.
