Somebody buy this Bavarian American princess before the ad is pulled Sunday night

Daimler in the streets, GM in the sheets.

Some people think an LS-swapped Merc is a bastardization of German engineering. One friend described the procedure as ‘putting a UHaul engine in a masterpiece’. Personally, I like the idea that my Savage Lucy will have a life beyond the reach of her engine. The potential for more power doesn’t make me sad, either. Right now, we’re at 194hp, but Lucy shares a transmission with some of MBs modern 600+hp V12 applications (UP TO 2014 S600 and s65 AMG models), so we’ve got some room to play.

Now, I’ll give Lucy a new engine to keep her alive far beyond her expected lifespan and it will be a crazy project. YOU, however, can acquire one of these beasts right now for a lot less heartache (and cost, probably). $1000 gets you a 5.3L LS (most likely an iron block from a truck) and a 4l60e transmission (allegedly from a 2000 Camaro). Yee-haw.

She does need some work, however.

So if this is something in your wheelhouse and you’d like a project to last you until the snow melts, go swoop this beast up. Please. But move fast, OP says the ad goes down tomorrow night. (edit: as of 1:00pm 22-Dec-19, the ad’s gone. It was clearly pulled, not sold.)
