One step closer to owning the overhead mill of my dreams

It’s a small step, but it’s a step! Went up to my college town a few weeks ago for a professor’s yard sale. He had been talking about having a yard sale for years, and when he emailed me he was having one I drove 6 hours from Atlanta to be there. Ended up with this sweet Bridgeport mill vise.

Someday I will own the rest of the mill, but for now the vise is plenty handy on it’s own. Don’t have the facilities to test how true it is, but it’s still neat and was owned by one of my greatest mentors.

Definitely used, but not worn out.

For $50 I’m satisfied.
