Election Day

Today (Sunday 24 Nov HKT) marks Hong Kong’s first elections since the infamous protests of this year. This year’s elections are for the District Councillors and the voter registration is now at 4.1 million, the highest number ever in Hong Kong’s history.

Both political camps are concerned that they could bear disadvantages owing to their respective positions on the protests. May the best candidates win, and may my hometown find peace soon. If I were single I’d have flown back just for this.
