Yesterday in Saint Louis, the high was 65. All morning the temperature dropped, rain turned to ice, and then to snow, while right now the temperature is 19.
My commute from Edwardsville to the city in a rear wheel drive BMW was a cautious one. But near Fairmount City, Illinois I was passed by this guy:
For the record, I was in a middle lane and not the fast lane. The left two lanes split into the 55 Expressway, while the right lane splits into 70.
