Other day clean. Nice to get a compliment

The other day I had a neighbours van to clean, not so much to clean as to prep for new decals to be put on to advertise his plumbing business.

With the van being a 2013 Nissan Primastar (aka Vauxhall Movano aka Renault Trafic). It was previously been liveried which had been removed, but it left ghosts on the left side and on the bonnet.

Neighbour needed the van washed, de-tarred, fallout removed and any imperfections removed to be as smooth as possible.

It took a litre of tar and glue remover, a litre of fallout remover, some polish and a lot of elbow grease.

A lot of fallout.

Finished up lovely, every panel smooth to the touch, free from fallout, tar, grease and imperfections.

Saw my neighbour today, apparently the sign writers were impressed with the work and asked who did it.

It’s always nice to be appreciated.

Now I need to rewash it, and put some protection on and dress the tyres and trim.
