The bumper jack makes for an excellent cheater bar.
Work is starting on removing the tired ol’ 301/TH350 from its rusty grave.
Didn’t have a long enough 1/2 extension to reach the motor mount bolts, so I whipped out my broken old 3/8 and bumper jack. Cracked those bolts loose RIGHT away.

Motor lifted off the subframe with a jack, so after I borrow an engine hoist from work I can separate them for good.
Not sure why, but I am going to move it to the garage and dig into it, after I chuck the subframe into the rusty scrap pile it belongs in.
