Even though it won’t be feasible for several years for several reasons, I keep thinking about going back to 2 cars: a fun one and a practical/winter/utility one. I posted a while back about wanting to import an FC RX-7 turbo convertible from Japan. I saw this FC convertible yesterday. I still like them.
The other crazy hypothetical option is to get a clean US market non-turbo FC convertible and swap in a cammed LS7. Yes, the C6 Z06 motor. Because a crazy all-motor high revving small block big block in an RX-7 convertible is a good idea.
