Last year, I posted that the Halal Guys in the same strip mall as my gym is the “safest” place in my particular corner of the DC burbs, because of all the cops who eat there. Uhhhh...so much for that!
UPDATE 1: Local news outlets have started to pick up the story. Apparently this happened back on October 29, according to another witness. I've been to the gym multiple times since then but it's over at the other end of the shopping center so I never noticed anything amiss at Halal Guys.

UPDATE 2: I drove by tonight. It’s open, just a little worse for the wear.
