Tonight, I’m driving down to Virginia Tech for a career fair tomorrow. I’m taking a company vehicle because that’s cheaper for the company than me expense-ing mileage on my car. Last week I asked the fleet guy for assistance with this and he said, “I’ll have Snake ready for you.”
I was puzzled as to why a company car was named Snake, and it’s because said car is a Ford Escape, and the Snake in question is Snake Plissken from Escape From New York. Today, I was given the key to Snake, and our fleet department is nothing if not thorough.
