The cafeteria at my college decided to close off one of the two cashiers to cup hoarders and make it part of an eco-cue: only those bringing their own cups or thermuses will be allowed to use this cue and the 2nd cashier, they’re also given a 4peso discount, around 20 cents of a dollar
At rush hour they serve 10 cups a minute; which is remarcable for a small coffee shop. But they´re under capacity; the shop is significantly cheaper than the alternative shops around the school, it’s also the closest to the smoker’s yard, the department of architecture, and where the newbies study. All of these are people who consume more coffee than the average students, plus, it’s got better coffee too.
