I think GM gave Trump this layoff in a silver platter. The layoffs, some think, are directly because of his economic policies and how they failed blue-collar workers. NOT GONNA GET INTO THAT THOUGH.

So... had GM announced this “restructuring” three or four weeks ago, it would’ve dominated the news cicle and taken over the midterms. I personally think it would’ve flipped some House seats to the Democrats. Maybe even a senate seat further South.
