This is such a lazy car. Instead of having an interesting drive train, it’s basically an M5 in drag, with a 50, 000 euro bump in price at least in Spain.
The 8er was a bonkers coupe; it competed with the S class coupes of it’s time. But this? It’s not as insane as the S class coupe. Really, it’s just a good reason for Mercedes to finally install the AMG motor on the E class coupe; and kill BMW in sales.
I really like it, but I can’t let go of the laziness. Honestly the best M cars on sale right now are the X3 M and the M2 comp. Those at least are a bit more creative and properly stupid.
