Great work there, GM, you managed to out-Ford Ford in terrible decisions. Awesome, what people really wanted - an Encore with accents that seem meant to highlight how ugly it is. No additional power or handling, BUT IT HAS RED ACCENTS.
OH! And why not use your own branding for it since, you know, the “GS” isn’t a famous symbol for buick performance or anything......Oh wait, you already called it “GX”.....Maybe try “GSX”? Ohhhhhh but no, that name is too full of heritage. I GOT IT! Take a page from Ford’s book and slap “ST” on there, that seems to be hot with SUVs right now anyways! What does it mean? Eh, doesn’t matter.
Congrats to whoever at Buick kept complaining about how cool the Equinox “Redline” looked and wanted one for your own product line. You got it. But at what cost?
