First Exam Done

Well, our first ground school exam is done. I passed, but I should have done better. The questions I missed were all pertaining to airspace rules and maps, both subjects I felt we didn’t cover very well. Fortunately, there’s a lot more of both to come.

I’ve also scheduled my first weekend of flying with an instructor. I’ve been in various high-wing planes with my friends, but this will be my first flight in a low-wing single-engine piston plane. It’s a Piper Cherokee 140, a perfectly ordinary little plane, much like the one below.
