I caught what I believe was a golf ball purposely tossed out the back window of a car going the other direction. Thankfully, the speed limit on this road is only 35 mph, so the closing speed wasn’t too high or it might have done a lot more damage than it did.
Unfortunately, the road is narrow, has deep/soft ditches and no place to turn around or I would have chased that bastard down.
I really need to get both front and rear-facing dash cams which are easily swapped between cars. This happened in my rental and glass damage is one of those things that isn’t covered by the insurance. We have coverage through our company credit card, but now I’ll have file a claim with them. I went through something like this before and it took over a year to resolve.
