Another of my “night shoots”, this time I visited Vanier Park. Meanwhile on the way I “window-shopped” the collection of car dealerships around Burrard Street and West 1st Avenue, right on the boundary of Vancouver’s Fairview and Kitsilano neighbourhoods.
Since this is Oppo, let me start with the dealerships:
Below was where my 2008 E90 M3 was “displayed”. It was there for many months, as attested by myself since I would see it every time I drove by. When things came together for me to buy it, my negotiation tactic was basically “well, I will take anything but White, so why not cut me a deal on that Red one on the corner outside that I KNOW you have had for quite awhile?”
They did, and so I did the paperworks and bought it. However, then I could not take delivery for a couple of days, because they could not figure out how to get it out of that spot! I heard eventually a lift and a ramp was involved.
That inaccessibility also meant that nobody test drove it. That suited me just fine!
