My Brain Is Mush

I’ve been editing two different projects for the past 3 days, spending at least 6 hours a day on each (I’ve been going for 8 hours today, but that’s just how I work when it comes to editing. I’ve done a few 12 hour benders in my lifetime. I’ve eaten nothing, and somehow I’ve drank even less, but once I sit down to work on a video, I’m fully invested.

One of the projects is a short film my friend is working on. If I have their permission (which I’m sure I will) I’ll post the link here. It’s pretty neat (though their organization methods were dismal).

The second project is an automotive review, and hopefully the first of many. Since I’m not a major news outlet or celebrity, I reviewed my own Acura TSX Sport Wagon, and I’m pretty pleased with how it’s turning out. It’s not done yet, though if I were lazy I could upload it now (it needs some polishing, and maybe music), but here’s one of my favorite frames from the video:

Now, I actually need your help with something, and if you’ve read this far I can only assume it means you care about the video I’m making.

I made these little banners that I can throw in at any point in the video, to either hammer home a point or give credit when I use an external clip (which I did a few times). It helps keep people engaged, especially during the longer segments where I’m taking too long to hammer home a point. But I can also use them to put in facts and information about the car, so my question is what do you want to know?

I would’ve called this an AMA, but that’s reserved for cool cars, and while I think my car is cool, it’d make me look like a butthead asking you all to shower me with questions about my own car.

Whatever you say may or may not be used (against you in the court of law), but I’ll try and answer them regardless.

In other news: I learned Wacko’s State Capitalsls song from Animaniacs in honor of the new reboot. I already knew Nations of the World, but this one was harder to learn (but more useful). And I fly home in just a few days to see my friends and family for the first time in a while! October has been too long, and I pray November isn’t much longer...

Take care.
