[Update] 4 cores 4 threads vs 8 cores 16 threads

The difference 7 years makes. If only AMD didn’t make the Ryzen 3900 OEM bulk only, it could’ve been 12C24T, but then I wouldn’t know what to do with all that raw power. Heck I don’t even know why I need this, lol.

I wonder what will Intel respond to AMD with. They did a heck of a job with Sandy/Ivy Bridge but right now they are devastated by Zen.

Update: Welp... it’s out with the new and in with the old. MSI pushed me a BIOS update, and it bricked the machine. Board’s back out and ticket opened with them. Hopefully they will give me a brand new board instead of a refurbished one since it’s only a day old...
