Unless you are a first-time flyer, you, like a majority of passengers, simply ignore the safety briefing given by the flight attendants. Sure, we all know how to buckle a seatbelt. Yeah, exits over wings, blah blah blah. In an effort to get people to pay attention to these potentially life saving instructions, airlines have tried catchy videos to encourage people to watch. And it doesn’t help if there is money to be made with a movie tie-in. The latest safety video to hit the seatback screen is this one for Turkish Airlines featuring Emmet and Wildstyle, stars of the upcoming Lego Movie 2: The Second Part. Will passengers pay attention? Probably. Will they learn anything? Unlikely.
