Safely completed the second and last leg of the long drive home. Left Montgomery at about 8:30 am and arrived in Austin at 11:00 pm. Interestingly, it was 800 miles over four states, and you could do the same 800 miles on I-10 and never leave Texas. Could have been a bit shorter of a day, but we had a couple of longish stops for food and leg stretches. Worst part of the day was the assholes in their lifted bro trucks with 30 million candlepower headlights driving like maniacs east of Houston. Whole trip was just a smidge over 3,500 miles.
