Here’s hoping for a good night’s sleep. I’ve had a nasty upper respiratory infection and cough that has caused me to lose my voice and not get any sleep. Even the codeine cough syrup does nothing. Doctor said to wait a few days before starting antibiotics to see if it clears up. Normally, I’m not one to jump into the meds, but I’ve been putting up with this for 10 days and I’m done waiting.
