Some friends passed down an iPad and a Bluetooth keyboard case to go with it. For the longest time, I thought, “I’ve got a laptop. Why do I need this?” However, it’s turned out to be the absolutely perfect arrangement for days I teach trumpet lessons at the middle school. I can take notes on each lesson, email instructions to students, and browse Oppo between lessons. It’s also not the end of the world if it gets broken or stolen. It has its non-laptop shortcomings, but for a small internetting device it’s really quite nice.
