What better way to celebrate Easter than with the music of JS Bach? Here is a fantastic performance of his Easter Oratorio, Kommt, eilet und laufet (BWV 249), by the Netherlands Bach Society.
The group is playing period instruments, which means they are either actual 300 year old instruments, or they are playing reproductions of those instruments. The trumpets are natural trumpets, meaning they have no valves like a modern trumpet. If you want to know more about them, click here.
