I was playing around with the Ram configurator and noticed this little idiosyncrasy. Two of the more distinctive features and you can’t have both. The multi function tailgate also limits your colors to grayscale plus red and no two tone even though the tailgate is always a single color.
Hopefully this will change for the 2020 model year because it is oddly limiting.
