Sweet merciful round knob of woodness

It is here and in my hands and so excellent-suspenseful box for suspense

The knob is from a Fiat 500 Riva edition. There is an Abarth version, the 695 Rivale, however I really wanted this wooden knob. So here we are. I won’t be able to attempt putting it on until this evening. I’m not sure how the shift boot will work out as the NA OEM Abarth shifter is a long leather wrapped thing. 

You may have noticed that it appears to be missing something like threads so that it will mount properly. Good news, it doesn’t need threads! It is bolted to the shaft in the most ridiculous method of mounting a shifter I have seen to date.
