C/S it was lacking power, then he heard a loud pop and the power was mostly back! There’s a TSB about the seals but this one was actually full and not leaking.

It was a Small block Chevrolet it is a remanufactured jasper engine they just threw the old distributor back in it appears

Customer complained that for about a year it had been making weird noises from the engine LOL That was after we discovered it was not the fuel pump though

Luckily he only had it lifted up about a foot or two, I was standing on the opposite side l, heard a BOOM, looked over and the left rear corner had dropped to the ground. He hadn’t even lifted it up enough to place on the first lock.

It’s still possible that the tech may have exceeded the capacity of the lift without realizing before it was too late. This Sprinter van was loaded down pretty heavy!

Yeah warranty won’t cover this. The Chrysler regional rep was in the store when this came through. The VIN is now flagged for power train restriction.

...young kid, mid 20's owns the car. We suspect he didn’t know how to drive it properly. Transmission was also shot as well. This is off of a 2019 Vw Jetta 1.4L. ...3000 miles on it.

2NZ-FE 1300cc Cleaned everything as best as possible by the customer request this one was lucky and was able to save it, ran good after no noise but don’t know how long that will last.

Wrecker motor installed before current owner purchased it. ‘10 Forester 2.5. Came in for external leaking, found coolant dripping from heads. Oil too from a few spots.

I pulled the motor to do it right. On a stand so I could do the oil pan too. Walked by and noticed red down the thermostat housing. Found this.
