Well with how the neanderthals that I work with go. They probably used the 1-inch air gun and squished the shit out of it without a second thought.
Turns out said buddy discarded the transmission cooler line fittings for it as well and they’re $81 a piece from the dealer, not including my labor to do it all correctly.
Clamp, crimp, what’s the difference?
My heart sinks everytime I see a Volvo pull in front of the oil change bay. It can ruin a perfectly good day
...they asked me to remove it to prove to them it needed changed. I told them it would cost them labor time for me to do it either way, and they agreed. After seeing this, they also agreed it needed changed.
Might be a good time to start thinking about doing something about those bearings... soon.
To be honest. A bit of trickery here on my part, it came in for a heater core. Not a no start lol.... that said, the front seat was covered in wiring and old taxi equipment, smelled like cat piss, and also has alllll the wiring for speakers coming OUT OF THE DOOR UNDER THE HOOD instead of through the firewall..... it’s no longer with us anymore... haha
This is gonna need more than a sling and a couple of weeks to heal...
This machine is used to clean dead chickens. It’s a 420 cat. All the pins where stuck so heat was applied. When the E stick came loose , a out 20 pounds of chicken parts fell out. My techs ran away.

It’s a 1600 air-cooled bug engine ...only had 3 miles on it. The head just sat for a long time before my boss bought it off someone.
