Body shop forgot the nut on the main harness eyelet after they did some inner fender work. If you look close you can see the bare stud with the eyelet on the bottom left.

The tech took a shop vac and sucked all the sludge he could out. We sold an oil pan reseal and the bottom looked the same. He cleaned it the best he could and it runs decent. Told the customer to change the oil every 1k

...its been sitting for 10 years. some crackhead she knew had some work done on it and he didn’t put the filler tube back on properly. thus allowing all the elements in. so I found this while trying to diagnose the no start issue.

2017 Jaguar XE diesel in for a service and safety/emission inspection (TÜV). I plug in the OBD-plug of the emissions tester, type in the vehicle information and when i get in to rev the engine, i am greeted with a blank cluster, only reading the mileage and 00/00/0000 but the vehicle still runs and drives. Worried, I try to “restart” the car but it stays off. Now very worried, I cycle the central locking with the keyfob, now the car starts again. I restart the emissions testing, ignoring the crashing cluster. While doing a rev, it comes alive again as a christmas tree. Same thing happes when I try clearing codes, car crashes and takes a minute to reboot and come alive again.

Decide to close early that day, if I was in the shop I’d have been skewered meat. I found my door handle at the end of the shop bent in half

Caught a cinderblock to the back while running away from my home. Which is also destroyed. Thankful I’m alive.

...No warranty. No stop leak. It’s straight up oil jelled up. The people just literally never changed their oil and also ran through a puddle apparently
