I brought the GT4 to an indy shop to get a full shakedown inspection and put new spark plugs in. Usually I do my own service but I have a shop do the first look at every car. Then I have baseline for what theoretically should feel and sound right.
I bought this thing like a 11 year old. No pre purchase inspection, 1 test drive and then buy. So far the shop is saying I’ve got a solid car that has had no unexpected hiccups. Hopefully I pick it up today and can get a little track day when I’m ready for new tires. My biggest worry was the coolant system but they did multiple vacuum tests and found no leaks. What a day.
The cargo spaces are also much larger than any of my other sports cars. This may be the most useful car I’ve ever owned.
