The ‘80s-’90s Hilux double cab is still my favorite Hilux variant. Sure, they’re rough and agrarian vehicles, but there’s something charming about them that keeps me coming back to Craigslist. I know first hand having both experience driving and riding in one as a passenger to a number of camping trips over the years. Fantastic vehicles for unpaved terrain, less so for the paved highways in between.
Also I spy a Volvo 240 owner being a massive dick. Sounds about right for us.
