I Made a Time Lapse of Pandemic Driving

You may want to put on your own tunes for this video since I didn’t add any myself. I have a few suggestions myself.

I actually enjoy making these time lapses of driving. This time, I pointed the camera out the front of the vehicle by sandwiching my phone under the passenger headrest. It really is as if we are going for a ride.

In this video, I start on the outskirts of old Marietta and then get lost in the network of large connecting roads south of the city. I eventually decided to head to a nearby Chick-Fil-A to pick up a jug of sweet tea. Right before the video turns off randomly, you can see the famous Big Chicken on the right.

Then, I head towards Atlanta via I75 South. For some inexplicable reason, I decide to turn off the interstate too soon and get lost in some random suburbs. Tomorrow I will post the second half of my footage where I drive through downtown Atlanta and get lost some more.

But before we wrap up, let me examine some of the DOTS along the way.

First, I saw that Nissan Frontier taxi that keeps disappearing too fast to take a photo. This time I was victorious.
