DOTS: The Other Stuff Edition! Part 1

The most interesting thing I saw yesterday was the Vanderhall Venice but that doesn’t mean I didn’t spot some other cool/cringy rides. Mostly cringy actually, but I promise it is an interesting selection.

I see so many camo wrapped muscle cars over the course of a nighttime wander it’s almost not worth it photographing a comparatively tame one like this Camaro. Almost. I just liked the colors this one had going on. And it wasn’t a Charger like probably 60% of the maybe 10 or so camo wrapped cars I saw. Yes, there really are that many of them.

Just another donk. Not too much to see here but I think the silver color doesn’t really suit the look the wheels project.

I think this Rolls Royce is a Phantom. Whatever the case, I think the wheel and tire combination may be a little self defeating when it comes to the purpose of the car. With no suspension travel and tiny sidewall, the ride is probably harsh in a way unbefitting of a Rolls.

Oh, you thought that was the only lightly donked Phantom rolling around? Well you’re dead wrong. This one didn’t was much more garish with giant chrome rims and even less sidewall.

For a palette cleanser, how about this Mercury Sable? Looks pretty good for 25 years in service. The bumpers are pretty dingy but I bet a lot of these looked worse after half this one’s age.

Let’s conclude with an interesting painted advertisement in a style you rarely see anymore. I’m not the biggest fan of the Mach-E but I do enjoy this ad. It’s quite well executed too. I love the colors in this one.
